Mathematics of Biological Systems Management Symposium

    5th & 6th of April, 2018

    The University of Melbourne

The Mathematics of Biological Systems Management Symposium will be held at The University of Melbourne on the 5th and 6th of April. The aim is to bring together researchers who work on modelling and managing biological systems to discuss the latest research and upcoming challenges. The key themes will be:

    1. Fitting complex dynamic models to data

    2. Multi-dimensional optimisation of spatial and stochastic systems

    3. Multi-objective decision-making and decision science

    4. Interpretability of outputs and making an impact

The meeting will include short presentations, posters, group discussion and a dinner on the 5th. Presentation content will be on current challenges across these topics and can be about ongoing projects.

Attendance is free thanks to ACEMS, CEBRA, CEED and PRISM, but places will be limited. Register your interest now!
